Immersed in ESG and impact investment, Kalyani brings sophisticated understanding of the emerging frameworks and taxonomy of the world’s fastest growing asset class. Her experience includes deep data research for State Street, Morningstar and Northern Trust; writing client-facing investment proposals for Fidelity, BNP Paribas, Aviva and RBS; and developing materials and documentation to support the integration of ESG standards into the investment process for Earth Capital. Kalyani is certified by UNPRI (United Nations Principles of Responsible Investing) for Enhanced Financial Analysis and Responsible Investing; the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD); and the Associate Chartered Securities Investments (ACSI) for wealth and investment management. Her MBA at Imperial College, London, focused on ESG and impact investing, including electives on social innovation, clean tech, sustainability and climate change, as well as applied work in Vietnam, Cambodia and India, where Kalyani focused on renewable energy for her thesis. Paying particular attention to clean technology, Kalyani co-authored a chapter of The Impact of AI on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Investing: Implications On The Investment Value Chain (Wiley, 2020).
